  • Primary Production Supervisor
    To supervise the daily activities and resources of the department to meet the agreed production targets and support the implementation of the business operations objectives.     Main Areas of Responsibility
    o To supervise all activities, resources, and production scientists within team to ensure delivery of manufacturing schedule including amending production schedule to accommodate process issues/failures to ensure recovery and on time delivery
    o Generate department KPl's, monitor trends and implement or improve policies and procedures as required to meet agreed targets.
    o Provide scientific, process, technical expertise across all areas and products in conjunction with driving product and process improvement within the business
    o Collaborate with all relevant departments regarding production schedule impact on customer requirements with regular communication of timelines and risk factors.
    o CAPA: Lead or participate in problem solving teams and kaizen events. Take lead role in identifying reasons for any department process failures and contribute to solutions.
    o Ownership and accountability of all department documentation and procedures within Quality Management System (Qpulse) such as batch records, deviations, change controls ensuring compliance with GMP & GDP, ISO9001 and ISO13485.
    o Lead the planning, implementation and reporting of department objectives and improvement projects.
    o Liaise with research and development team to lead and support product transfer of developed methods into manufacturing
    o Create a positive working environment in the department that facilitates employee engagement and a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
    General Areas of Responsibility
    o Carry out all duties and responsibilities to the company standard within the timescales required.
    o Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures.
    o Maintain compliance with QMS policies and procedures.
    o Maintain compliance with GDPR and Cyber Security policies and procedures.
    o Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as required.
