  • Procurement Specialist
    Working with suppliers, and other third-party service providers to negotiate contracts to deliver cost effective materials / services to minimise supply chain interruption. As well as sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, equipment, and services.

    Main Areas of Responsibility
    • Reviewing purchasing requests information to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs, specifications, and budget. Ensure a clear understanding of the desired products or services.
    • Assist the Manager in screening, certifying, validating (running background checks and conducting due diligence) and selecting vendors.
    • Utilize various channels, such as internet searches, supplier databases, industry exhibitions, etc., to identify potential suppliers.
    • Assist Manager to negotiate, establish and manage purchasing contracts, track and follow up on contract execution. Ensure all documents including quotation sheets, contracts and certification are available for all new suppliers and available to be used as supporting document when orders are raised.
    • Processing purchase orders in ERP system. Following up the approval progress and providing supplier with purchase order and following up on delivery dates.
    • Assisting manager to maintain supplier management records and monitor supplier performance to ensure delivery of goods and services are in a timely and satisfactory manner.
    • Be able to assist in resolving issues with suppliers in a professional and efficient manner using Accubio’s SCAR procedures.
    • Ownership and accountability of procurement related documentation within QMS system ensuring compliance with GMP, GDP and ISO13485
